Terms of Use

Last updated 28 July 2026

These terms cover your use of the VoiceFrame Mac app and of voiceframe.app. By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not install it.

1. Licence

VoiceFrame is provided free of charge. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use it on Macs you own or control, for personal or commercial work. You may not resell it, redistribute it as your own, or attempt to reverse engineer it except where that right cannot be excluded by law.

Everything you dictate, paste, create or export with VoiceFrame is yours. We claim no rights over your content whatsoever.

2. How it is distributed

VoiceFrame is built with Glaze and distributed through the Glaze Store, operated by Raycast Technologies Ltd. Installing it also involves your relationship with Glaze, governed by the Glaze Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. Glaze and Raycast do not endorse, operate, maintain or take responsibility for VoiceFrame. Where Glaze or Raycast branding appears in connection with this app, it is referential only and does not indicate any endorsement or involvement.

3. Requirements

VoiceFrame runs on macOS 26 or later on Apple silicon and requires macOS Dictation to be enabled. We make no promise that it will work on other systems, earlier macOS versions or future ones.

4. No warranty

VoiceFrame is provided as is and as available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not warrant that transcription will be accurate, that formatting will suit every destination, that the app will be uninterrupted or error free, or that it will meet your requirements.

Speech recognition makes mistakes. Formatted output should be read before you send it anywhere that matters.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for any loss of data, profit, goodwill or business, arising from your use of or inability to use VoiceFrame. Because the app is supplied free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

6. Your responsibilities

7. Third-party services and trademarks

VoiceFrame produces text formatted for third-party destinations. Slack, Gmail, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, GitHub, Notion, Jira, Confluence, Apple, macOS, Reminders and Contacts are trademarks of their respective owners. They are named here only to describe where formatted text can be pasted. VoiceFrame is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

8. Changes and availability

We may update, change or discontinue VoiceFrame at any time, and may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, and the courts of Madrid have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in your local courts.

10. Contact

hello@voiceframe.app

These terms are a plain-language template written for a small free app. They are not legal advice. If VoiceFrame starts handling payments, accounts or personal data on a server, have them reviewed by a lawyer.
